So, after many years of the boys asking and an equal amount of us deliberating and resisting we finally decided that it was time to introduce our boys to Avengers Movies. A lot of their school friends had seen the films already but we were not sure that they were ready or if we actually wanted them to watch something that had violence in it. (Maybe we are a little bit over protective as parents)
Well, we needn't have worried as they totally loved them! We actually ended up binge watching ALL of the Avengers movies and pretty much every other Marvel movie that connected them in between. (Disney + have a 7 day FREE trial at the minute too. Definitely worth checking it out if you haven't already!)
As a family we really enjoyed it. The movies really take you on a journey and I think we all felt a little emotional when it ended. So naturally after this cinematic adventure the boys are now full time Avengers. And when the Spider-man outfits came out that was it... A battle was inevitable! And after Thanos, who is the biggest, baddest intergalactic villain out there...? That's right. DADDY of course! And it fell onto the shoulders of the mighty Kizzy and Sonny to try stop this super villain from wiping out half of the galaxy! (or at the very least the back garden) The EPIC BATTLE was ON!!! So today we have mostly been re-living the movies and playing them out in the back garden. Daddy hell bent on destroying all that opposed him. The boys are planet earths last hope. And they are ecstatic about it... Much Love! The Blackonians. x
