After what I would describe as a painful day yesterday I was grateful to wake up this morning with a lower temperature and a little more strength. My temperature was down to at a very respectable 38.5⁰ which at this moment in time I'll take. Although, every inch of me (including my eyeballs) still hurt! 
I was able to eat and I actually felt like I had energy enough to sit up and read some stories to the kids. The Den outside my bedroom door that they have made is becoming grander each day! Today I kept the pain relief to a minimum as I felt like my body was starting to turn the tables and fight back unaided. It is a comforting feeling considering yesterday I honestly thought if it gets worse I'd have to seriously consider hospital. But like I always said. "I'm well 'ard innit!"
More concerning is this... 2 others from my work are also now ill. One fully down and another in a bad way. And on top of all that, Merilin has now also displaying symptoms starting with a raised temperature. Doomsday is here... The cough is more present when I lay down now, when upright it seemed to ease off today. I'll take that as a good sign. I am still feeling my breathing restrictions when I talk or move. Like I just can't get enough oxygen into them fast enough. It is really noticeable when reading to the children. It actually takes it out of you. After a few chapters I honestly have to pause for a little break! #oldman But I actually feel like I may be turning a corner today... The light is at the end of the tunnel.
